Description

This fun personal finance and real-world math project will give students practice with decision-making skills using a budget. Students will plan a vacation to a destination of their choice while keeping costs under a set budget.

Students will research each component of a week-long vacation, including lodging, transportation, meals, attractions, and souvenirs. They'll record their findings on the worksheet. If their total cost exceeds the vacation budget, they'll need to go back and revise their plans!

This activity works well as part of a budgeting unit or simply as a fun activity before a school break!
