Pixar-like Short Film LITERARY AND NARRATIVE WRITING Workshop: HEY DEER!

Looking for a fun way to teach theme, plot, setting, and narrative writing. This winter themed workshop is both rigorous and adorable! It can be used for a Christmas activity, but it is also a great winter activity, appropriate for students who don't celebrate this holiday.

Students will use the graphic organizers to analyze the plot of Hey Deer!, then use STORYBOARD templates to plan and write their own narrative.

DIFFERENTIATION OPTION: Allow students to choose: Narrate the film Hey Deer!, or start from scratch and create their own story.
