Students are naturally curious about the moon. These high-interest, low prep activities will explain the moon and the moon phases in a way in which students can easily make connections and understand. You can also use this as a digital resource for your students in Google Classroom for remote learning. As students learn about the phases of the moon they can follow up with this wide variety of differentiated activities.

- Students can create their own monthly calendar by shading the moon as it appears in the sky each evening.
- You will receive a fun, simple experiment to do with the students using a basketball and a flashlight with a recording sheet.
- This product also includes an explanation in kid-friendly language to describe the phases of the moon, moon facts, and the Apollo 11 first landing on the moon.
- Question and Answer sheets about moon facts, phases of the moon, and the first landing. (differentiated)
- A diagram and explanation of the solar eclipse (in color and black and white)
- A diagram and explanation of the lunar eclipse. (in color and black and white)
- A fill-in-the-blank moon fact sheet with a word bank and without a word bank for further differentiation.
- You will receive an eight-page mini-booklet to learn about the moon (in both color and black and white )
- A writing prompt for students to respond to about what they would do if they went to the moon. The writing prompt is on both primary and secondary lined paper to differentiate instruction or to best meet the needs of your students.
- I also included an answer key or you could use this as a mini-poster to discuss the phases of the moon.

This resource is amazing! My daughter is on the spectrum and she has high test anxiety. The variety of activities in this pack gave her a lot of practice, she enjoyed doing games using these.
