Explaining the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001 is hard. It can get even harder when your explaining it to very young children.
This printable booklet simply lays out what Patriot Day is, why we celebrate it and how kids, and all Americans, can celebrate this day of remembrance on 9/11. The simplicity allows for as much class discuss as is necessary for you and your students.
The pages can be printed as full sheets and made into a class book, or print pages 2-5 half size as a booklet for individual students.
