What educators are saying

The content of the anchor charts and the student checklists matches well which makes the process of paragraph writing easier to follow.

Description

Teaching students how to write a paragraph can be a difficult task. It can be hard to get your kids to remember all of the different parts in their writing. Engage your students in writing a paragraph with a fun song and printable activities. This resource more suited for lower elementary students (K-2).

This resource was inspired by a lesson I did with a small group of 2nd graders in my resource room. I used the tune of the “Fast Food Song” by the Fast Food Rockers and came up with my own lyrics to help my students remember the parts of a paragraph. This song was a hit with my students and they even wanted to teach the song to other students in their class.
