The lesson can be split into 2 30-40-minute parts (plus optional activities), or 3 minilessons. Turn out the lights at the beginning of the class to set the mood. The lesson covers many topics including nocturnal animal adaptations and behaviors, light at night and how it affects animals, shadows, and reflection.
