My very first Italian Geography lesson

This is the cover I use with my Pre-Primary students, at the beginning of the year. It is a great topic starter to introduce the shape of Italy, main landmarks, and for the more advanced...the seas surrounding Italy, differences between an ocean and a sea. I usually follow up asking to find its peculiar shape on a children map of the world and then they can colour in the landmarks and/or other features we discussed. I also introduce the students to the sounds of the Italian words present in this cover. This activity is useful also for parents who want to learn a language along with their children because I always include "sound" files in my worksheets.
