Mother's Day Inclusive Flower Craft, Gift Idea, & Activity | Mum, Stepmom, Aunt

This flower craft is a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day! It's an inclusive activity suitable for students who may not have mothers. I’ve included templates for other guardians so no student feels left out. Students will have the opportunity to write what makes their mom or guardian the best or why they love them. Then, they can color, cut, glue, and design their own flower. The craft includes the following template prompts:

• I love my mom because… (versions with: mum, nana, sister, brother, step-mom, foster mom, aunt, dad, step-dad, foster dad, uncle, grandma, grandpa, and blank are included).
• Happy Mother’s Day
• I love you
• You are the best mom because… (versions with: mum, nana, sister, brother, step-mom, foster mom, aunt, dad, step-dad, foster dad, uncle, grandma, grandpa, and blank are included).
• Mom (versions with: mum, nana, sister, brother, step-mom, foster mom, aunt, dad, step-dad, foster dad, uncle, grandma, grandpa, and blank are included).

Students will write on the petals, but I've also included a version of completed petals for students who have difficulty coming up with reasons.
