Happy Mother's Day Inclusive Heart Card, Flower Craft & Cupcake Writing Activity

This bundle includes a Mother's Day 3D Heart Card, a inclusive Flower Craft and a Cupcake Writing Activity. Versions with Step Mom, Foster Mom, Sister, Nana, Aunt, and Grandma are included.

This Mother’s Day Heart Pop Up Card is a fun craft, designed to be inclusive, ensuring every student can participate in creating a heartfelt message for a special lady in their lives. We understand that not every child has a mom, so we offer a variety of covers for students to choose from. Inside the card, they can fill the hearts with their messages, either using all of them or just a few. The back of the card has adorable hearts for students to color.

Students can select from the following covers:

• Happy Mother’s Day
• I love you
• Best Mom Ever (Versions with Step Mom, Foster Mom, Sister, Nana, Aunt, and Grandma are included).
• Blank covers are also available for students to create their own cover design.

Heart templates are included in this package for easy crafting.

Tips:

*Print the covers on card-stock.

*Give students an option to choose between the different covers. 

*Print the hearts different colors, I did purple, yellow and pink.

*You can also print some on white paper and give students an opportunity to color & decorate the hearts however they want. 

*Have a pre-made card so students can see an example. 

*This is a great activity to do during centers or whole group.

The flower craft is a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day! It's an inclusive activity suitable for students who may not have mothers. I’ve included templates for other guardians so no student feels left out. Students will have the opportunity to write what makes their mom or guardian the best or why they love them. Then, they can color, cut, glue, and design their own flower.

The craft includes the following template prompts:

• I love my mom because… (versions with: mum, nana, sister, brother, step-mom, foster mom, aunt, dad, step-dad, foster dad, uncle, grandma, grandpa, and blank are included).
• Happy Mother’s Day
• I love you
• You are the best mom because… (versions with: mum, nana, sister, brother, step-mom, foster mom, aunt, dad, step-dad, foster dad, uncle, grandma, grandpa, and blank are included).
• Mom (versions with: mum, nana, sister, brother, step-mom, foster mom, aunt, dad, step-dad, foster dad, uncle, grandma, grandpa, and blank are included).

Students will write on the petals, but I've also included a version of completed petals for students who have difficulty coming up with reasons.
