    This 15 page “Morning Group Calendar Binder” for Autism and Special education is a great interactive book for increased participation and engagement during morning meeting, morning group, calendar time, or circle time. Each student has their own binder and follows along with the teacher to choose the correct picture icon for a variety of calendar and life skills activities listed below.

    Included in this binder:

    -Rules

    -Name writing page (2 versions)

    -Greetings (choose a friend)

    -Today is, yesterday was, tomorrow will be

    -Month

    -Interactive calendar (7 included for the different days the month starts on) with

    Students put a Velcro star on the correct calendar date.

    This Editable Morning Meeting Calendar SmartBoard or projectable PowerPoint Lesson with Video Choice Boards is a great addition to your morning group, circle time, or calendar time. Use it with your SmartBoard or computer projector. This slideshow will allow your students to follow along using their Morning Group Calendar Binder (find it in The Structured Autism Classroom store). Then, use the motivating song video choice boards with hyperlinks to videos to work on communication, taking turns, and making choices. 2 video choice boards per topic (17 total) with 4 songs each are included. Links for the calendar, online clock, and kid-friendly weather forecast are also included.

    Teachers can circle with the Smartboard pen, use the laser, or point to the correct icon for the following topics.
