"Doodle notes" for teaching moon phases!
These doodle notes are a visual learning tool for helping your students understand why we see the eight phases of the moon. Ideal for middle school or upper elementary science, doodle notes help provide visual triggers that improve focus, memory and learning. It is amazing how students interact with the content through coloring, writing, drawing and embellishing the main ideas!
Doodle notes can be used for initial instruction OR as a study sheet for students to review. An answer key is included as well as a two versions of the student doodle sheet so that you can pick one that best matches your students! (Some teachers are using the two different versions of the doodle notes to differentiate within their class.) Note: This is not an editable document.
