Magic Multiplication Tunnel (with Negatives)

The students (or teacher) pull a multiplication equation (may include negative rational numbers) from the treasure chest. Students attempt to answer the problem, then drag the equation through the magic tunnel to determine if the multiplicand or multiplier they chose was correct. Complete instructions are included in a pull-down menu on the 2nd slide. There are at least 16 equations hidden behind the chest, but teachers can easily add their own equations. Just remember to place them on the middle layer. Although this activity was produced for the Promethean ActivBoard, it can easily be adapted for most interactive whiteboards.
