What educators are saying

This was a great podcast for my students to listen to and report their findings. Very intriguing and thought-provoking. We all loved it!

Description

This is a 6-8 week deep dive into the Limetown podcast.

- You can choose to shorten this by removing the weekly projects OR final project and/or essay

Each week, you will listen to one episode and complete the corresponding work:

The work for each episode will include the following:

  • 2 pre reading questions (   /6) - 3pts ea.
  • 4 multiple choice questions (   /4) (rubric included on final page)
  • 3 short answer questions (    /9) - 3 pts ea.
  • 1 project (    /16)

= 35 points total

Projects are divided into 5 categories (rubrics included):

  1. 4-5 Min Presentation (I let them do this in groups)
  2. 6 sentence (min) formal writing. Include: thesis, 3 arguments, and a conclusion.
  3. 400-500 word creative writing assignment
  4. Creative Project
  5. Media Literacy Project
**** Students will pick one type of project to do twice

At the end of the 6 weeks, there is an option to include a final essay or project

- I normally pick one or the other depending on what we've already done this year

- Prompts and rubric included
