Introduction to Transformations (geometric) - BUNDLE

This lesson is designed for teachers of special education. The lesson is broken up into small parts which allows students to 'absorb' the content, follow along as the teacher models expectations, and work in small groups.

The goal of Introduction to Transformation

Introduce students to the visual aspects of geometric transformations.

During the lesson, students will

1) Focus on identifying the visuals of transformed images. “How was the pre-image change/transformed?”

2) Practice labeling the pre-image and transformed image.

3) Draw the line of symmetry when applicable

Students will not focus on coordinate points (x,y) during this lesson.
