What educators are saying

I love the whole escape room concept but I definitely lack the skills to create them! I loved this fun way and engaging way to introduce Shakespeare.

Description

Fun and engaging with NO PREP WORK FOR YOU! - introduce your students to Elizabethan England, William Shakespeare's biography, the language he helped create, and basic information about a drama's structure, and The Globe Theatre!

This digital escape room provides necessary background knowledge for students before beginning any reading of a Shakespeare play.

Students are magically transported back to Elizabethan England in a quest to save Shakespeare's life by taking on a role in his play A Midsummer Night's Dream so he isn't murdered (yes, a dramatic, fictional plot line to heighten the urgency.) Students travel through a variety of challenges while learning about the time period in which Shakespeare lived, who he was, what he wrote, and the Globe Theatre where many of his plays were held.

Get students excited for learning with this rigorous digital escape room to save Shakespeare!
