Intervention Options Chart for Teachers

This chart is a great professional document for teachers, reading specialist, coaches or principals. It lays out a school or district’s intervention, enrichment, core program and assessment options for each grade level. It is color coded for easy readability. Red is Tier 3, Yellow is Tier 2 and Green is Tier 1. It can be changed for your school, just drop in the interventions you have in the boxes provided.

I created this for my school when I first started as the literacy coach. It allowed me, as well as the rest of the staff to see what literacy intervention/enrichment options we have already purchased and how they fit into the different areas of literacy (phonics, fluency, and comprehension). It also breaks down each grade level and which interventions go in each tier (1,2,3). I laminated this and take it to every data meeting I have to use as a reference for myself and the teachers.
