Idioms, Figurative Language CRT

This document is designed to help organize the way you teach idioms and figurative language into meaningful units as well as to measure your student's progress. There are 3 sets of idioms/figurative language in this one document. Each set includes 5 different categories with a total of 45 idioms per set and a total of 135 idioms. Set I includes 20 money idioms, 20 body part idioms, 10 weather idioms and 15 general idioms. Set II includes 20 sports idioms, 20 color idioms, 10 time idioms and 15 general idioms. Set III includes 20 animals/insect idioms, 20 food idioms, 10 clothing idioms and 15 general idioms. This document includes all of the most frequently occurring idioms in English so that if your student runs across it in their reading and/or conversations... they will know it!
