These 25 digital task cards help your students review government and citizenship standards. These specifically align to VA SOLS 3.11 and 3.12, but could supplement any government/citizenship unit.

Skills covered with these task cards:

-Differentiating between rules and laws

-Defining Government, Community, Laws, and Rules

-Identifying that the US has a representative democracy that is also known as a Republican form of government

-Identify the purpose of government

-Identify the basic principles of government

-Identify the benefits of diversity

-Identify ways to be a good citizen in school

-Identify how a citizen can serve their community, state, and national government

-identify how a student can be trustworthy and self-reliant


These Boom Cards focus on assessing student understanding of government and citizenship. These cards are written using testing language to expose students to the rigorous testing questions they might see on their standardized tests. Questions include multiple choice questions, true/false, and drag/drop. These cards are great for students needing to practice/review this topic or for teachers wanting to use more digital resources in their classroom!


Boom Cards are no-prep and paperless. They are great to use for whole group practice, small group practice, center work, independent work, or homework.
