Description

If you need something fun to combat spring fever, or if you need something that you can do that is a quiet music lesson during testing, this flower meter sort has got you covered. Students will practice reading rhythms and identifying time signatures by matching the petals with rhythms to the correct flower stem with time signature.

To use: Have students sort the petals onto the stems with the time signature that matches. Laminate and use for elementary music centers, or have students glue their answers to construction paper for a Spring rhythm craft. (A craft that looks great on a bulletin board AND doubles as an assessment? Yes please!)

There are 4 different meters included: 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4.

There are 108 different petals to be sorted. They are in varying rhythmic levels so that you can differentiate and use with many different grade levels of general music.
