Description

Gifted students have an opinion on just about everything! In this activity, they challenge their creativity by debating silly questions like: what happens in your fridge at night? High ability learners apply their knowledge of fact and opinion to prove their perspective of silly debate topics. The debate topics are intended to be creative and thought provoking with students realizing there is no right or wrong answer; but instead learn ways to prove their unique perspective to an audience.

Included: 5 debate topics, graphic organizer to record facts and opinions, and a presentation agenda to conduct a debate in your classroom!
