Description

All New 2022 Version

Tron, 1982, the original is iconic and was ahead of its time. It was the first movie to be largely filmed with green screen where the actors had to imagine the set around them while computer programmers created the movie in the lab.

New Version includes

  • New Tech riddles
  • A sheet for drawing your ideal game or favorite space
  • Intro of algorithms and enhanced discussion questions for younger learners to begin thinking about.
  • The pros and cons of a meta digital world (you decide which meta you mean)
  • Included original ZIP word files for customization.

Use worksheets in conjunction with movie viewing.

Pair up with Tron-Legacy- included, 32 questions for movie reflection and discussion- as some kids may never have seen either of them. 25 years later plus, Jeff Bridges and the inimitable Bruce Boxleitner, followed up with Tron-Legacy, an eerie world of a future GRID, where all is not as peaceful as we last left it.

It was tons of fun and a joy to watch and discover with kids. Its up there with A New Hope as an all time Sci-Fi favorite of mine.

I've had success with younger native speakers and slightly older EFL learners.

I warm up with some riddles, simple questions, and a few interpretive ones also. Enjoy it!

These are basic study questions to make sure kids engage in the movie as they watch and learn. There is plenty of room for expansion, free-writing and imagination.
