Description

This end of year letter to future self is editable, no prep, and designed for Google Slides. This letter to self activity is a fun way to help with your middle school or high school students reflect on their growth and celebrate the end of the year during the last week of school or on the last day of school! In this fun and engaging end of the year activity, students write a letter to their future self to remind themselves of who they were at this time in their lives and to give their future self advice, warnings, and encouragement.

This unit is created in Google Slides and can be used as a DIGITAL or PRINTED activity.

Scaffolds and Supports - Brainstorm Sheet: An editable brainstorming template to help prompt students as they reflect and predict. The brainstorm includes 16 prompts, including highlights for the year, what students are most proud of, what the world is like today and what they think the world will be like in the future, and goals and advice for their future selves.

Activity Duration:

This activity will take about 2 hours, but a barebones version could be completed in 1 hour if time is short.
