Description
Go paperless with this digital book report in Google Slides™! Whether you are a 1:1 classroom or have access to Chromebooks™, laptops or iPads®, this project is great to implement during your reading block. I also have a: Digital Nonfiction Book Report for Google Slides.
This can be used independently or as a collaborative project for novel study/book study groups.
What is included?
★ Slide 1: Product Cover Page
★ Slide 2: Directions for adding a selfie
★ Slide 3: Directions for adding images to slides
★ Slide 4: Directions for how to embed presentation on blog/website
★ Slide 5: Examples of completed slides
★ Slide 6: The Book Report Cover Page→Students add a selfie holding their book and type the title & author in the text boxes
★ Slide 7: Main Characters
★ Slide 8: Setting (Time & Place)
★ Slide 9: Book Summary
★ Slide 10: Favorite Part
★ Slide 11: If I could change one thing about the book it would be...
★ Slide 12: Rating→ Students rate their book on a 5 star scale. They will click on a star and use the paint can tool to fill in their star(s). Then they will write WHY they gave the book that specific rating.
★ Slide 13: Book Report Rubric→ A 35 point rubric is included that addresses all 7 slides students fill out. Slides are set to print on 8.5x11 paper.
All slides contain student directions at the bottom.
Note: Once students complete all of the slides, have them delete the direction slides.
Have students present their completed presentation to the class or small groups!
