Design Your Own Restaurant: Life Skills Worksheets Project Based Learning

This product was created with my 9-12 lifeskills classroom in mind. Most of my products will also work great for grades 2-5.

Use this resource as a 4-8 week long project for your students to design, develop, build and create their own restaurant business.

They will work on their planning skills, money skills, inferencing skills and social skills.

What is included

1. A planning packet that has: Brainstorming map, blueprint design, fact sheet, blank menu template, what they need, kitchen safety and putting it all together
2. Guess the price: have students guess how much the menu item costs
3. Menu observations: have students do an around the room with the provided menu examples or grab your own. They have to gather information on what is the most expensive item and what is the cheapest then reflect on it.

The end goal is a flyer for the grand opening of their restaurant and a menu! They will present it to their classmates or other staff from the school that would like to join in.
