Description

Cool bridges present some of the world wonders that engages students in a rigorous STEM activity which is very relevant to the community. The activity is project-based implying that each student in a group will assume a real world responsibility. Students will research, read, compile notes, create facts map, use a matrix, build a bridge manually or virtually and create a presentation. The presentation may be video recorded or teams may present in front of peers and visitors. At the end of the project students should be able to compare the most common types of bridges and sketch simple structure of each.

Includes rubrics for the structure and presentation.
