Force and Motion Unit

The unit consist of flashcards, vocabulary, test review content review and a project that takes about 4 weeks to complete. By the end of the unit students should be able to

(i) plan an investigation that demonstrate that the change in an object’s motion depends on the sum of the forces on the object and the mass of the object (F=ma); (ii) design a solution to a problem that involve Newton's Third Law of motion: for every action there is equal and opposite reaction; (iii) build a bridge hands on or virtual that will withstand a given force; (iv) participate in creative writing.
