Northern Constellation Flashcards provides a way for students to learn to recognize twenty-two constellations visible from the northern hemisphere by name and shape using Google Slides on a presentation screen.

Each constellation slide starts by showing only the stars on the screen. The teacher can then click to reveal more information such as the lines that trace out the stick figures, labels for the parts of the stick figures, important stars, pictures of the figures, and finally, the official names and the common names of the constellations.

The presentation can be used multiple times for notes, identification practice, quizzes, and tests. Individual slides can also be used as backdrops for student-given reports to the class on constellations.
