Description

This comprehensive sports medicine unit that covers prehab and rehab, preseason conditioning, different types of conditioning, types of muscle fibers, self myofascial release, progressive overload in strength training, the importance of flexibility and stretching, and the effects of exercise on the body.

Designed for high school students in grades 9-12, this unit includes detailed lessons and activities that teach students about the different aspects of sports medicine, including how to prevent and treat injuries, how to optimize performance, and how to maintain overall fitness.
