80 COMPOSERS!!!
NEVER STRESS ABOUT YOUR MUSIC BULLETIN BOARD AGAIN!
Here is a fun and educational idea for a bulletin board that will intrigue your students throughout the school year! The “Composer of the Month” bulletin board set is perfect for all grade levels from elementary through high school and suitable for all disciplines (band, choir, orchestra, etc.).
Inside each kit, you’ll find 10 composers, each with 5 different displays filled with great content!
1) Clear picture of the composer with his/her name and dates
2) “Did You Know…” – Interesting and little-known facts about the composer
3) “Most Famous Works” – A list of the composer’s most popular works
4) An inspiring quote from the composer
5) “In the year…” – Important and notable worldwide happenings during the year of one of the composer’s famous works (IMPRESS YOUR PRINCIPALS WITH THIS ONE!).
The displays are not cluttered with graphics and difficult-to-read fonts; rather, the focus is the content, elegantly and cleanly presented with bold, easy-to-read font!
Each kit contains at least one African-American and one woman composer, ideal for use during Black History Month (February) and Women’s History Month (March). There is also at least one modern composer (producer/movie composer) and a combination of the prevalent Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th-Century composers in each kit.
Each of the 5 displays has both a portrait and landscape orientation so you can organize your bulletin board to suit your needs!
Reasons why you need this:
1) It’s interesting and educational.
2) It’s time-saving! No need to take everything down from your bulletin board when it’s time to change it – just simply swap out the composer information.
3) Your administration will love it, especially the cross-curricular history display!
4) It’s great for all grade levels (K-12) and all disciplines (band, choir, orchestra, etc.).
5) Easily change the theme to “Composers of the Week” if you need to update your bulletin board more frequently.
