Provide your students with meaningful phonics practice with this set of six holiday-themed CVC word family decodable readers. These decodable readers feature cvc words and simple sight words so students can apply their phonics knowledge to blend sounds together while reading new words and texts.

Decodable readers are designed to have sequenced phonics skills that are consistent for readers to provide purposeful reading practice. In this set, consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words are used for students to apply what they are learning during phonics instruction. Please note that while the vast majority of the text is CVC word families and sight words, in this set, more advanced phonics patterns are used with four words. The phonics patterns included are: blends, a digraph, and a diphthong (snug, sled, shed, and toy).
