This creative activity requires students to think about a character in a different way. Students decide how a character would decorate an ornament and why. Responses must contain evidence from the text to support their explanations. For more of a challenge, students can also design an original ornament in any shape to represent the character.
Includes differentiated handouts and interactive notebook or classroom display options.
Aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Reading, Writing, and Language.
