Description
These charts allow students to use independent reading novels while practicing higher level thinking skills.
Drawing Conclusions and Inferring about Character Motivation, Conflict, and Internal/External Thinking/Feeling.
There are additional thinking prompts in the chart and scaffolding for responses to support differentiation.
The rubric is built in to each reading chart for quick and easy assessment and feedback to the students.
Note: Although the standards that are referenced are for 7th grade, they are easily converted to standards for 5th, 6th, and 8th grades.
