Capitalizing Documents and Laws - Made-for-Easel Activities for Capitalization

This Made-for-Easel Activity focuses on the capitalizing documents and laws. After a brief introduction, third, fourth, and fifth grade students complete a series of interactive practice activities with thumbs-up/thumbs-down, sorting, and highlighting.

Note: This resource is 100% digital, and kids need gmail accounts to access it. No print materials are included. Watch the video preview to get a better look.

What’s Included:

• teacher directions and an answer key (remove before assigning)
• directions for using tools
• brief direct instruction
• five titles for which students give thumbs-up (capitalized correctly) or thumbs down (not capitalized correctly), as well as answers for checking
• a sorting activity
• an activity for which they must highlight words that should be capitalized

Oral directions are also provided. Kids just push the sound icon.
