Are your students learning about the life cycle of a butterfly? This no-prep research project guides students through the butterfly life cycle. Students will research the life of a butterfly, take notes, and publish a report. This project works well as an independent project or group work and easily integrates science, the reading of nonfiction texts, research, and informational writing. It is a great supplement to your insects science unit. Students use the images of an egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly to help guide them through their research.
