Bucket Drumming Performance Grading Rubric

This is a grading rubric used to assess students rhythmic bucket drumming performance. This rubric can be used for individual and group assessments. Focus is given on both student technical ability as well as effort. The rubric is created in a manner in which to motivate students to do better using terms such as "reaching" and "developing." An area is provided at the end for either teacher or student comments. I often use the comment area as an opportunity for students to reflect upon their areas of weaknesses and to set goals for future performances.
