These engaging differentiated reading passages and visual word wall are a must for your biomes unit, nonfiction reading, or guided reading groups!
Each topic comes with 3 leveled reading passages containing the same educational material & vocabulary, only varying by reading level. Reading level on these passages range from Grade Level Equivalents of 2.5-5.5. Please take a peek at the passages in the preview to ensure they are appropriate for your students. All follow-up activities are thoughtfully planned to align to the ELA Common Core.
Also included is a beautiful, visual word wall with 54 Biomes vocabulary terms that are included in the passages (plus a few extra). The word wall is also available with all white background for a less color printing option.

• Using Text Features: Students sort the text feature from the passage onto a graphic organizer and explain its purpose and how it is helpful to the reader.
• Vocabulary Crossword
• Interactive Graphic Organizer: Cut, glue, fold, and write! Students fill in information about each biome's sub-biomes into a 2 page interactive graphic organizer.
