Description
This is a resource that lists instructional strategies for the following areas:
Best Practices- Instructional strategies for anytime
Activating Strategies- Instructional strategies to grab the students attention at the beginning of a lesson
Congnative Teaching Strategies- Instructional strategies for during the lesson
Summarizing Strategies- Instructional strategies for the end of the lesson that can be used as an assessment
I use this list when creating my own lessons, so I can switch up my routine and not use the same strategies over and over. I also hand it out to other teachers as a resource for them to choose from. It works very well when coaching a peer.
