Addition and Subtraction Strategy Posters

These posters are designed to be displayed in your classroom to show the different ways your students can add and subtract. They are great alternatives to teaching the traditional algorithm, especially since it can be so difficult to understand. These strategies can also help with mental math strategies as well.

Check out my Math Strategy handout that I send home to parents so students can have access to the strategies all the time. These strategies are IDEAL for beginning 2 and 3 digit addition and subtraction, 2nd and 3rd grade to be specific.
