Students who are deaf require accommodations determined by three factors: the degree of hearing loss, the age at onset, and the type of language or communication system they use. They both may use a variety of communication methods including lip reading, cued speech, signed English and/or American Sign Language.
Images and descriptions from world famous paintings with:
(Level 1) Cut and paste descriptions to be matched to the appropriate images
(Level 2) Learn key words/phrases regarding the paintings
(Level 3) Complete a word search for keywords
(Level 4) Use a range of strategies including text features to gain meaning, draw conclusions ________ and make predictions.
