This resource provides an introduction to the skills required for success selecting a theme, differentiating between theme and lens, and researching an argument. Students read and analyze an article by Sherry Turkle identifying lens and perspective. They also identify and analyze the author's use of evidence.

There are ten individual lessons. Each lesson works in a face to face or digital learning format.

Three power points are included to provide an overview of main idea, perspective, and research.

All activities in word for easy adaptations.
