What educators are saying

These articles are great prep for A Christmas Carol, and they're engaging ways to incorporate informational texts. The assessments were brief, but covered standards-based questions. I'm very, very pleased with this and plan to use it again next year.

Description

Save $$ by buying the bundle!

These texts pair perfectly with the drama “A Christmas Carol.”  The texts introduce themes of greed vs. generosity and introduce students to the Victorian Era. Give students their choice of 4 texts to annotate before completing the accompanying Google Forms Quiz.

Quizzes are 5-6 questions long and use multiple choice, text entry, and multi-select question types - good practice for the redesigned STAAR! Questions cover: text structure, main idea, inferencing, author's purpose, graphic features, summary, and vocabulary.
