Description

3rd Grade Math Common Core Standards Checklists
Lesson Planning Form for EACH Standard
Beautiful Purple Chevron Theme

This 50-page Common Core Checklist file includes ALL Math Common Core Standards for 3rd Grade with a LESSON PLANNING TEMPLATE for EACH STANDARD. I am super excited about this file. I have been wanting to create these for awhile to help make planning and organization with the Common Core easier. Common Core has High Expectations: Pre and Post Assessments, High Use of Technology, Increased Vocabulary, and Lots of Hands-On Activities. This lesson planning form puts everything in one place and makes you accountable to include all facets with EACH standard. What a great addition to your formal lesson plans! Your administrators will love it and you will feel so much more prepared to teach with all the pieces in one place.

I will be adding other grade levels in the near future. If you need a particular grade or subject quickly, let me know and I will work on those first. I can also customize your background if you tell me what you prefer: Chevron, Jungle, Polka Dots, etc.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think and feel free to check out my other files at my TPT store. I have a lot of Common Core Activities, Math Study Guides (my top sellers), Math Strategies, and Assessments, and of course, some cool freebies, too.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
