1st Grade Place Value | Tens and Ones Place Activities, Assessments and Centers

Are you teaching place value to your first grade students? This all-inclusive bundle will help you get started! Begin instruction by introducing key vocabulary that are presented with definitions and visuals to help students understand. There are 4 mini lessons to guide students through the introduction of place value content, such as writing 2-digit numbers in standard and word form, naming the amount of tens and ones in a number, naming the value of a digit in a number, and writing the number in expanded form. There are 10 practice activities that go alongside the lesson and an assessment for the end of the unit. In addition, get 2 center activities that students can do independently to practice on their own. These resources cover 1st grade math TEKS 1.2B and 1.2C.
