Anytime we give a performance, I always have it taped. Then the following class period we get to re-live the performance by watching it back. This gives students the opportunity to see what they looked like on stage and to evaluate their musical performance.
This is a rubric I use with 3rd through 5th Grade. It includes categories for students to evaluate their singing (which I break down further to vowels, diction, cut-offs, and expression), movement, memorization, and stage presence.
