*FULLY UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2023*The Man Who Walked Between the Towers, 30 pages, CCSSThe Man Who Walked Between the Towers is a book by Mordicai Gerstein, written about Philippe Petit's famous high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, on August 7, 1974. It does not focus on the tragedies of 9/11, but rather fondly remembering the World Trade Center through this wondrous event.
