Students investigate what happens to the positions of the Earth, Moon, and Sun during an eclipse. Students are able to recreate an Eclipse through the Experiment provided! This activity provides both basic and higher order skills to support a variety of levels. Students can investigate independently, with partners, small groups, or with the whole class.

Estimate and Measure with Bites!
Students will use food to get a hands-on experience with estimating and measuring. Students will first take a chip (or pretzel) and estimate the length. When recorded, they will then use their ruler to measure the chip. After everything is written, students will take a (small!) bite of the chip, and repeat the process.
