Spelling Rule Mini Lesson Worksheets Perfect for Sub!
Every week, I do a spelling rule with my 6th graders. I give them the rule, and have them use Google to find words that fit the rule. I love that they are learning to research and use Google searches to find what they're looking for. I feel this is a much more valuable skill than giving them lists of words to memorize. It really makes them think about the rule, as they have to make sure they are finding words that fit the rule (we all know the English language is full of exceptions!
