I have been teaching in the Exceptional Children's Program since 2002. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. With a background in the mental health system, I discovered a love for teaching children with special needs. I completed the teaching program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Special Education. I have been married for 14 years and have two children, Bela Grae and Silas. My hobbies include sewing, family time, camping, and anything crafty!
My goal is to meet the diversified learners needs.
