Dr. Kaiser has been teaching in the Cumberland County School system for the past 24 years. In that time, she has taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. Six of these years were spent in self-contained 4th grade classrooms. She worked six more years in a science/social studies/technology lab classroom for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Another six years were spent as a consultant/teacher for academically/intellectually gifted students in grades 3-5. Currently she serves as a fifth grade math & science teacher for the online academy.
According to my Facebook quiz I am "very positive and love to give praise. You feel that every one of your students has something to offer and you make them aware of each of their strengths. You work hard in the beginning of the school year to make sure that your classroom environment is a very safe and judgement-free zone. You promote positive interactions between students as well. You love giving our compliments, stickers and high-fives. Students feel they can take chances and risks in your classroom because they know that failure is just another step on the road to a new success. Students love being in your class because you make them feel cherished and loved. They know that you care about them and their learning. Sometimes it is difficult for you to give consequences to students even when they truly deserve it, but you do not want to ruin the positive bond between you and your students because you want them to love to come to school everyday."
