I am a Spanish native speaker who has worked as a foreign language teacher for over 10 years. I taught English as a Foreign Language in Mexico for 4 years in grades K-2. I also worked as a Middle School Spanish teacher in North Carolina, where I lived for 5 years. I am currently a 2nd grade Dual Language teacher in Colorado where I have been teaching for the last 2 years.
I love to include technology in my lessons. I also like to teach culture, because besides learning grammar and vocabulary, I consider that culture is a very important part of learning another language.
Magna Cum Laude from the Autonomous University of Baja California (2012).
I hold a B.A. in Language Teaching from the Autonomous University of Baja California (Mexico) and I am currently completing my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the International University of La Rioja (Spain).
I love going for walks with my husband, daughter and two dogs. I also love to travel, visit Mexico every chance I get, cook and try new recipes. I enjoy doing yoga, reading and watching movies with my family!
